Sorry, I didn't see this reply until now. I mean the button for whatever the post is linking to. Pictures, other communities, or external links. I'm right handed and the button is on the left. This makes it a big reach for my thumb to reach across my screen and I'm less likely to click on things or use your app because of it. I know it's a small complaint but it's all about feel, especially when it comes to apps, that's why reddit had so many!

It does not say kolanaki. It says kolanak. Also yes, it actually bothers me more than it should and even more so now that you point it out.

I couldn't comment through Jerboa and had to come over to Thunder where I am grateful to report you are in fact PillowTalk420.

I mistyped and couldn't edit it in Thunder or Jerboa or Summit. So I had to use Liftoff to edit this comment.

I just want a Nintendo Switch Advanced.

They have their Gameboy and a Gameboy mini, the OLED Switch was the Gameboy Color. Now we need our Advanced. Backwards compatible, but bringing in some new features and higher specs. No need to reinvent the wheel, just iterate for a generation and give devs more power to play with.

They are ice and snow catcher things. They come in different forms, sometimes bars and these new versions in your picture. They hold the snow and ice in place during the winter.

Ice and snow will build up and weigh a ton, sometimes literally, and that weight falling on someone could easily kill them. With this system you are far less likely to have the entire sheet come down and it lets the cold stuff melt on the roof instead on people's heads.

Summit, Jerboa, and Liftoff... I'm reading the replies to you to see what to try next!

I'm replying on Connect for Lemmy. I just looked at your app and it's super dope but I've got to say the one thing that throws me off is the button for the link is on the far side from my finger. I also like swiping to reply and vote and nonsense like that and your app doesn't have it.

Take your time however and implement things well and I'll keep it in mind. My favorite app for Reddit was Relay I think I will be looking for an app until I get something similar or exactly the same.

List mode ftw

I keep seeing new communities daily and we're already the size of a decent city and much larger than the city I grew up in. We had all types from punks to queer kids to commies and fascists. We've got enough users to fill any niche I can think of and probably a lot more. And we're still growing, I don't remember reddit when it was this young, but there's a bit of an early 4chan (minus all the racism and homophobia and hate) vibe going on that I totally dig!

Damn I want paying attention and you got me with that link! I haven't been on reddit for a week!

It makes me think of Discord servers. There are lots of channels that share the same name but they are all on different servers. You can visit any and all of them if you like but they are not connected.

Where this analogy fails is you cannot see or send messages without joining the server. And on Lemmy you can.

Lemmings, that's what I've got in my head. 😉

Relay has been my go to for years. I'd pay again for a Relay for Lemmy app. Browsing Reddit is so fluid on it I'm sure... Is it Dave? ... Would make a great Lemmy app!
