Me too. I love that in order to prove I have a claim for my deleted account, I can submit my email address. My account was deleted, Facebook. Why do you still have my email address? Why do you still have records tying it to my deleted account?

Thanks for the input. What makes it far better?

Is there a benefit to doing this instead of just running it natively on SD? The store page says it's SD verified.

Guessing you get higher resolution? Does it matter if playing handheld only vs big screen?

I have been looking for a replacement for Nova due to the sale but haven't found anything that comes close re gestures. I can set up a folder with any icon I want. Tap on it and it opens the folder. Swipe up on the folder and it opens whatever app I want. Same with swipe down.

So for example I have a folder with my audio apps in it that looks like a musical note. Swipe up and it opens my music app. Swipe down and it opens my podcast app. Tap and it opens a folder with all my audio apps. It's amazing and such a time saver. I'm gonna try Action. Sounds like it's not quite as customisable but hopefully close enough.

I moved from Digg to reddit about 15 years ago, before the mass Digg exodus. For the last 5 years I was a paid reddit subscriber, mostly just because it was my most visited site and I wanted to support it.

Immediately after the API announcements, I cancelled my subscription and deleted all my posts. I also deleted most of my comments, and edited some to say I've moved to Lemmy. I planned to do that with all of them but I got bored.

There are some niche subreddits I still visit directly because I haven't found comparable communities, but I barely use the site at all anymore. I'm enjoying Lemmy and have also dipped back into RSS feeds for the first time in about a decade.

Unless something drastically changes, I will never post or comment there again. It's only a matter of time before I ditch it completely.

Link to the video for anyone else who struggled to find it hidden in the article:

I didn't realize you can have an OS ISO and other programs on the same USB stick. I thought the live boot ISO had to be the only thing on the stick (or multiple ISOs using Ventoy).

Thanks for the tip. I have a random "Pluggable" brand docking station that works fine with Windows but not my Linux laptop, neither with Zorin or PopOS. I get nothing from either monitor and can't get DisplayLink to properly install on either OS.

I will look into Dell. Do you know of an easy way to tell if DisplayLink is required? I'm looking at this one and don't see it mentioned:

I'm not sure what that's about. I tried with lemmy.one and had the same issue. For me it works great with lemm.ee and lemmy.world. Guessing it's a big that's hopefully getting worked on.

I just switched from connect to Liftoff. I am liking Liftoff better. Looks nice and I like that comments collapse with one tap, and up/down vote arrows and the reply button are all shown in the comments as a default (rather than having to tap or swipe to see the arrows).

Liftoff also has better formatting options. Here are a few screenshots:
