Great pictures! It's amazing what they were able to create so long ago with the tools that they had available at the time.

That's a good point. With the round shape you end up losing a lot of the cubby holes you have for storage in other RVs.

I like the lower weight and the higher resale value, but it almost seems like if we're going to spend any significant amount of time inside, it might be better to bite the bullet and get a larger truck.

Has anyone made an LCARS theme yet?

If memory serves me right, it wasn't long ago that many were well below $100.

It's amazing how much batteries have increased in price since Covid.

Thanks for reminding everyone of this. The gas savings over time will probably end up being the same, or less, than a starter on an older vehicle. Of course, if you're not planning on keeping the vehicle until it dies, this is less of an issue for you.

The dog we adopted doesn't do well with other dogs. He was a stray pickup, so I think he may be been on the streets for a little while and something happened with some other dogs. He's perfectly

So sort of create a read-only Lemmy instance that re-creates the accounts and posts from archived Reddit?

I'm glad you had a better experience with animal rescues than I.

With cats I'd imagine that there is a lot more to be worried about since it's so much easier for them to escape a space than a dog.
