well just look at the UN resolutions, condemning israel, it is almost all the world but the US and israel. so of course you can disagree, but the world thinks otherwise. retaliate to what? they are the occupier force, the palestinian is the occupied.

[–] manos79 1 points 1 year ago

well, that's what the Palestinian side is claiming.

This most recent violence does not come in a vacuum. The reality is that it grows out of a long-standing conflict, with a 56-year long occupation and no political end in sight.   It’s time to end this vicious circle of bloodshed, hatred and polarization.

Israel must see its legitimate needs for security materialized – and Palestinians must see a clear perspective for the establishment of their own state realized.

Only a negotiated peace that fulfills the legitimate national aspirations of Palestinians and Israelis, together with their security alike – the long-held vision of a two-State solution, in line with United Nations resolutions, international law and previous agreements – can bring long-term stability to the people of this land and the wider Middle East region.

True, this is why public pressure to regulate the industry is required.

it is not a good vs evil thing.

it is not as simple as who to blame. it is complicated with long history and many parameters.

the article points out the use of the word unprovoked, when in fact Russia has stated multiple times that expansion will lead to confrontation.

Ukraine is being wasted for the sake of weakening Russia.

[–] manos79 1 points 1 year ago

yeah. I can agree that the phrase is misleading and that no written agreement exists.

I believe it was brought up by the ussr. and there is plenty of recorded statements that expansion leads to tensions.

It really makes no difference. the rest of my argument hold.

I totally respect Ukraine motive to join EU alliance, however I am not naive to believe that Russia would not attempt to stop it.

and if try to say we'll yeah but it is still wrong and immoral, I will definitely agree with you.

then we could argue that by the same token the US is orders of magnitude more unlawful in its foreign policy.

firstly i have filled a report for you response. secondly, if you disagree, make it on the premise of the arguments presented in the article.

What exactly is your disagreement. of course it is not taken over by Nazis.

you could refer to the book prisoners of geography.

i am not claiming that russia is right to invade, i am claiming that the war was a calculated result of US explicit actions and strategic planning.
