Thanks for your and the other Lemmy devs work on this. These growing pains are a good thing as frustrating as it can be for users and maintainers alike. Lemmy will get bigger and this optimization treadmill is really just starting.

There are a lot to sift through, but I recommend:
- Nightmare Reaper You play as a woman sent to an asylum and the battle is against the horrors within her head. It has tons of fun weapons, enemies, and challenges.
- AMID EVIL A magic themed FPS that reminds me a lot of Hexen/Hexic. It has a superb soundtrack.
- Forgive Me Father A horrific adventure to fight a cult and its otherworldly summonings. Has a perk progression system that sets it apart from most.
This was my answer. It'll run on anything and it has a lot of depth. They also have some newer tilesets that make the game much more accessible.
Cassette Beasts! It's a monster collecting battler much like Pokemon and Persona. I've got 50 hours on it now and it's the perfect game to play on the deck.
I hope so too. I stopped commenting on reddit a while back because it was just such an unenjoyable, unrewarding experience. Felt like users just got their dopamine by being contrarian about anything and everything.
Those users will come here. Best thing we can do is not engage. Just downvote, block, and delete those people from your memory. They aren't worth your energy. Embrace the amiable community instead.
