You know, I remember that. My PS1 never had an issue, but I know a few people who did.
And soon enough we'll see 1tb games once storage is plenty.
I have learned that there is a toooon of variance in things you'll see here. It's a little nutty, but also interesting.

I do a workaround when installing/setting up Windows on others PCs. Use my dummy MS account -> create local user -> change to admin -> delete out the MS account. Boom, then only the local account is on the PC.
There seems to be a commenter on the article that is saying it's a Western Digital firmware issue and not a Windows issue.
