What absolute rubbish. It'd be alright if it felt like we tried to fight back but it seriously looked like arsenal the relegation candidates out there in the second half. In fact, I've watched a few games from the bottom 3 in the last month and I'd say mostly they look better.

I'm not rewatching anything from this game any time soon so this could be a really stupid take incoming - why the fuck was an attacking midfielder the only player to make it back for the second goal.

I missed the first half so I don't know if it looked any better but this half I'm not seeing a single player that looks like they want to win the league. We have just let them pin us back.

It'd be a cheaper solution than switching to an AMD card for my gaming pc, which is my current plan. I do want to upgrade from my 2080 anyways, but graphics card are just SO expensive

I've seen lots of people recommend PopOS for NVidia users. I personally haven't tried it yet, but could be worth a shot if you get sick of windows again.

I would be insanely entertained if Newcastle somehow finished above spurs

Re: your last paragraph -

Think of it this way. Google pulls in 300 billion USD a year and 80% of that is advertising revenue, not leaving a whole lot of the pie for Pixel phones once you take out subscriptions, Chromebooks, GCP, etc etc.

Sure, they're probably making some money on every pixel sale but the point of them making mobile phones is to support their advertising business.

I'm not a Graphene user, but that's the way I see it. At the end of the day if you get the phone secondhand you're not giving them any money at all.

Yeah I think there was some, oddly enough, Irish pub that used to broadcast all the games but I can't tell if they do it any longer. I'll have to have a look on Facebook!

And yeah, I've made sure that if we head to the UK it's in the winter hahaha not missing out on that while I'm there.

Bit early obviously but thought I'd ask - where is everyone watching the Everton game from?

A mate of mine is flying over to watch it live 😭 we have a significant dearth of supporters bars here in Aus, the only ones I can find seem to have stopped doing it through COVID. So, I'll probably end up on the couch. Might try and get some mates around for it.

I eventually want to talk my partner into moving to a country like that. I love the cold and I hate living in a hot/humid climate. The coldest it gets here in winter is in the 10s during the day and around 0 at night.

I definitely tolerate the cold less as I get older though.

The cold weather is setting in down under and I'm delighted. It does make it harder to drag myself out of bed for the 4am kick off though lol
