I appreciate the work you do. However, is this sustainable for the long term?
I am a gnome user. However, for my parents I went with mint. It was quite stable. I think both desktop environments do not give you choices hell. That's something I hated with kde. Too many choices. Although it's been a while.
Sure. But it can be annoying to remove snap if you're like me.
I wonder why they didn't go for a f droid release? I mean I don't really fancy installing random apks.
I started using reddit only an year ago. I've tried to use it even earlier, however I didn't understand how things work. It was after i lurked for a while that i figured out things. And Infinity for Reddit app. Lemmy also is taking the similar time.
Linux mint uses flatpak instead of snap. That'd be my reason to go with them instead of plain Ubuntu.
Fedora Silverblue. Loving the flatpak and toolbox workflow. Gnome is a pleasure to work with.
Well nothing is stoping you from doing both. It's not an issue to get another relay email.
