Paladin is also an absolute acceptable answer.
But I will say that my level 7 land druid has been pretty strong. Summon beast level 3 spell has been a game changer. Summon 8 flying snakes at +6 to hit and 3d4 damage and you can clear out a big room of enemies or do a ton of damage in one turn really easily.

To add to this, Dune is a really slow start. It takes a minute to get to the good parts, but it's worth the wait.
