Sure, I haven't done the exact calculations, it just means I'd rather have slightly less than the exact cost of production if it means we could actually spend our new wages on stuff we enjoy.

Idk how you expect companies we enjoy to exist if there is no point in owning/investing in a company.

Podcasts on what? I listen to most of my podcasts on YouTube so sponserblock takes care of that.

Have you tried listening to them on YouTube? I find most people I want to listen to upload them there too.

Yeah, I understand why it's not a thing. Still miss it.

Ahh, I'll have to look into the options I've been given once I'm not shitting at work. Ombi having an app is quite intriguing. What will I, the host, be notified on if at all? Is it a Plex extension that I'd only see when I go onto my server?

Most of it is contained to Reddit related communities, just block them if you don't want to see the downfall of Reddit in real time.

Oh, interesting. This could be useful but idk if I could get others to use it lol.

I host a Plex server that my friends use, they just text me what they want and I'll get it. Is there an official request feature? Or are you just talking about asking the host like I do?

I really miss the dog videos, took me a week or so to notice that lemmy doesn't have any, all the porn is garbage because we can't have videos and none of the apps (except kinda liftoff) have in-app video players for sites like redgifs.

But no one is posting videos because most people aren't going to watch them if they have to go to a website, I won't.

I hope boost releases with in-app support and the option to hide certain posts like it used to. Then I can just tick videos and go on my merry way.
