I think lack of time off and the cost of airfare and other traveling costs are the reason for that. Depending on where you live in the US, it can be extremely expensive to fly to Europe.

Plenty of them think this though unfortunately. A few years ago, I talked to a bank teller who was a middle aged white woman who said the same thing about abortion being the reason why Medicare and Social Security are underfunded.

My quality of life would be a lot better if I had not had the misfortune of being born to a mother who did not fully vaccinate me and my siblings because she fell for this nonsense. Anyone spreading antivax propaganda should be criminally charged because this bullshit is seriously damaging.

It's absurd that teachers have to buy their own supplies. I don't know of any other job that requires that.

My mother had to have pelvic floor surgery after having three kids. Prior to that, she had to get her gallbladder removed shortly after my brother's birth. Pregnancy is extremely unappealing to me, and I don't think the long term effects of it are talked about enough.
