I recently struggled through installing the first alpha on a virtual box setup and unfortunately after all that, the desktop wouldn't ever load. It seemed to get stuck in a loop trying to initialize the video mode. I may wait until it's at a beta state to try again because that was a letdown. I'm hopeful this DE is what they're hoping to achieve eventually! And I understand alphas aren't going to be stable I just really wanted to play with it!

Gotcha. That is a good plan. I still have a win 10 partition I rarely use but pop os is way more pleasant on a daily basis imo
