the sahara turning fully green could actually be another kind of disaster - parts of the food chain rely on dust from the sahara blowing over the atlantic to provide essential nutrient/minerals for smaller organisms that slightly less small organism feed on.

migrating dust clouds originating in the Sahara Desert are crucial to fostering life in the Atlantic Ocean as far away as the Amazonian basin

It's not a big deal, and often it's literally just about whitespace so that we don't have fifteen different indentation models and bullet syntaxes.

These idiots think FEMA is for death camps not disaster relief so in thier conspiracy ridden easily controlled minds, republicans who voted no are heroes.

sometimes I wonder how we haven't gone extinct but then I remember we've been working on it (climate change) for a long time.

and lose your job while in jail awaiting trial when you just don't have the money.

a lot of amazon sellers simply mark working pulls as "refubrished" when all they did was reformat or if you are lucky did a zero fill and check that the sectors weren't bad.

I don't trust reburbs that aren't manufacturer refurbished on any site because its a huge difference in the testing and checking being done.

I do sometimes buy used drives, but I know what I am getting there vs "refurbished" - and there is usually a pricing difference which is why so many are dishonestly calling used drives refurbs.

you want to look at the sellers warranty policies. if if they actually have one besides amazons, the seller is confident in their own items longevity

flat earthers are weird. the earth is obviously bowl shaped or the oceans would fall off. and cats would knock everything else off, thats just common sense!

unsure if same student but story I knew of was he accidently left 1 container out, and the pther person he loved with saw it in the counter and not realising how long it had been out it in the fridge where it sat like a ticking time bomb till he ate that particular container.

Article seems to regurgitate that story with the details incorrect.

Reminder that Nintendo is to Japan as Disney is to the USA.

We can only speculate what patents are involved, might be legit might not but it doesn't have to be legit and the actual patent they obtained could be nonsense, they have the power to bend someone over a chair because they felt like it.

Also reminder apple managed to patent a rectangle. what countries allow to be patented is often bullshit at best.

We may be doing a lot of choosing the lesser evil but gd there is such a huge margin between them right now. I am not willing to give a rapist traitor a 2nd chance to damage the country more than he already did. Hell I expect him to try and pull off something right on election day and if not that a Jan 6th 2.0 right after it. Putting the country into a civil war would not bother the diaper wearing orange shit sandwich in the slightest.

I will not at all be shocked if republicans under trumps command try to push election certification to the house while complaining of fraud that didn't happen.

It's a cork screw eh?

Once in a while I fire up my NES cart of Dragon Warrior 4 just to replay chapter 3. Chapter 2 is pretty good as well, but 3 keeps me coming back.

...pardon, doesn't seem to embed as expected so you'll have to actually follow the link to listen.

I was playing Shadows of Erdrick recently (old fan game) and my nostalgia started playing the song in my brain.

The game is available to preorder now physically from the Square Enix Store:

Physical copy confirmed, at least on preorders. Hopefully not limited to just preorders but we'll see.

This has more info for us. Like the game has seasons.

I couldn't find a community for Dragon Quest fans in any instances, so I made us one.

Rules:

  1. No unmarked spoilers

  2. No piracy links. Mods/patches are fine (rom hacks but NOT roms)

  3. No NSFW posts.

  4. Be respectful, and don't get upset at people looking for help - don't send them off to google etc. for help elsewhere.

  5. If you are posting a fanwork (art, fiction, game, music cover) be sure to credit the creator. This can be a name, user or link to the credited source.

  6. Don't join the Dragon Lord to rule half the world. He'll just backstab you anyway and its very uncool, hero.
