I find it to be a helpful summary of parts of the video for one.

Louis suggests using Opensense and using VLans to segment a network.

He uses PFsense but if he started again he would consider using Opensense instead.

Here is a little bit of what's going to be shared according to the linked post.

Age of empires II, III, IV and Mythology. New expansions, DLC's seasons and game.

-Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition: We’ll reveal a brand-new campaign-focused expansion and an extended look at exclusive gameplay.

-Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition: After giving our players a new way to play for free in 2023, we are excited to reveal a new DLC with new civilizations.

-Age of Empires IV: Coming off our best-selling expansion ever with The Sultans Ascend, we will share updates on an upcoming brand-new season and a new in-game reward.

-Age of Empires Mobile: TiMi Studios, the award-winning developer, will share a first-time look at gameplay and give us a behind the scenes look into their studio. The team will share their passion for Age of Empires and their vision to bring the franchise to new and existing fans alike.

-Age of Mythology: Retold: The team will take us behind the curtain in the studio to show how they are developing this beloved game for a new, modern experience. Fans can expect a unique unveiling of a few mythological creatures that you won’t want to miss.

Yep! On YouTube beyond their trust and safety staff there's also 2 categories of volunteer mods. One is more of a normal moderator role for the channel called "standard moderator" and the other one that I have "managing moderator" can moderate and set people as moderators or even an approved user.

Here's an article from YouTube on our moderation controls. https://support.google.com/youtube/answer

The only thing is YouTubes tooling for community management has a lot of issues to put it nicely.

Welp, That's just a job with an application process. Can't really help there

In general, Just be regularly a positive contributor in comments and if there are Livestreams also consistently be a positive regular there as well. Then when the creator needs new mods they might pick you since your a regular that is trusted.

This also can be used actually for almost any community online as well.

Also, You can mention Grayjay by name here directly unlike YouTube where even as a moderator I can't mention it.

Yeah, this will be fun to watch as FUTO and YouTube might actually go at it in a legal case.

And FUTO has Louis on their side which won't be good for YouTube lol

Hey! Thanks for the shout out first! It's greatly appreciated as I try to slowly move my community here and away from reddit. The work on images is also great to hear since Thinkpad Setups is primarily an image sharing community!

Hey! I'd love to help out.

Note that the developer is contesting this and IS NOT immediately taking the repository down!

"I will not take the project down immediately and simply let Haier win. Using the api should not be illegal. If the significant economic damage is caused by us making too many requests with the integration, we can talk about it and slow it down. Luckily I'm insured. I've contacted my legal expenses insurance and they're covering a lawyer for the case. I will seek advice and see how an expert assesses the situation and then proceed."

And the latest response from the Haier US where they are distancing themselves from the EU Haier division. https://infosec.pub/post/7349960

That's even more impressive! Thank you for all of your work on the channel!

Hey everyone! I am u/stormfor24 on Reddit, the current Mod for our sibling community on Reddit r/THINKPADSETUPS. Since Reddit effectively killed most 3rd party Reddit apps I have been learning about Lemmy and created this community recently as an alternative to Reddit to share Thinkpad Setups.

In general this community is intended to be a place for Thinkpad setups but other Thinkpad related topics like Thinkpad related questions are also allowed. Welcome!
