1 million dollars over the last decade is 100k a year. That's top 18% not top 5%. Top 5% would be over 350k a year. I'm just basing this off random Google stats so the numbers may shift a little but 100k is definitely upper middle class at best

Did juice film this or is it ai??

I would not include boomers but I get what your saying. Gen z isn't a monolith though and neither is Gen x. Some people are techies and won't have a problem figuring out the fediverse. Non techie "normies" will probably get confused and write it off unless it becomes more accessible. Good thing apps are coming!
Last paragraph is the perfect analogy for bidets XD
I feel like it could create a weird effect where people are less interested in lemmy because they just see it as a reddit knockoff. That could just be me though. I feel like fostering new conversations here would be better. If someone comes here and sees a bunch of reposts from reddit, they might be inclined to just go back there
Love it so far! Killer Mike ftw🙏
Killer Mike never disappoints 🙏
I knew the link was going to be to Louis' video. That guy is great! He articulates our modern problems with tech ownership so well
Thx for the non spoilery tip!
