This iOS app does that automatically, for the UK at least.

I just do a moustache as my beard doesn’t grow very thick.

Listen, really listen to them. Put yourself in their position and really empathise with them. Remember and reaffirm regularly that you are a team and that you both have the others interests at heart, you should be one unit against the world.

If you get mad or argue, apologise, it doesn’t matter who is right, you’re apologising for upsetting them.

Do things together, and separately, share your experiences.

Try and eat facing each other when you can, with all the screens around it can really be easy to forget that face to face contact.

Never go to sleep with unresolved issues, don’t be afraid to be honest about why you are upset, and make them feel comfortable doing the same.

A lot less than I would like. My best friends maybe once a month or two, other friends once or twice a year. In my twenties we would all see each other a few times a week. People have moved to different cities, had families or are generally to tired from work or have lots of commitments. Also, covid really fucked the routine of seeing friends often. It definitely made me more reclusive.

Yeh, again I’m not sure how efficient using water is but my instinct says it will be a lot better than any mechanical system as they are generally very inefficient!

I’m going to preface this by saying, all I know is that know about the subject was one physics class in college… The teacher mentioned Hydro Pump Storage that pumps water into a reservoir when there is an excess of energy generation then releases it through turbines when there is a surge is energy needs on the grid. Wouldn’t this idea work in a very similar way? If so it would seem feasible as about 15% of the UKs STOR requirements are met in this way.

This is why I try to make every moment special with them and give them the happiest life possible. It doesn’t make it hurt less, but you can know that you made one souls life as perfect as possible and you loved them with all your heart.

Many a Kerbal has been left in a face down lander on the Mun. Don’t feel bad Japan.

It's just being smart about your word choices. I start off with two words that cover the 10 most common letters: ANODE, SHIRT. Don't think I have the perfect third word yet, but I'm currently using FLUMP and sometimes CLUMP

Who wants to do the exact maths to work out the sea level rise of all of this melting? My back of an envelope calculation gives me 4cm, but happy to be proved wrong! I did 1600km3 over 75% of 510,000,000km2
