It’s like escaping a war-torn country as a refugee. Is that trip dangerous? Yes. Does that mean they should stay in an unsafe situation? No.

I disagree with the suggestion that “getting away is in no way a path to safety”.

With POTS lines getting up to $1000/month in some cases, it’s not even the equipment that’s the problem.
At this point the effort and time to keep physical fax machines is greater than dropping them.
Zero businesses need them.
