This is all just about normalizing poor decisions, right?

Ya. I got Century Club on Reddit based mostly on AdviceAnimals posts that hit front page.

Thing is, if this is "relatable", then people are nodding along and normalizing it. It's a classic half-joke. Only not actually funny.

Call me crazy... but maybe find a way to deal with your emotions that doesn't involve compulsive spending and damaging your marriage?

Onion also got bought out a couple times. The new videos are low effort crap; nothing like the superb clips from 10-15 years ago, which is probably the best satire ever created.

Joel Fagliano is usually the NYT crossword guy. He's a savant that's been working for NYT since he was like a teenager. This seems up his alley.

I am. I'm Jewish, and a Berniecrat. Bernie is a caricature if an old Jewish man.

This is a fine attitude when you have to choose between eating the shit sandwich and the shards of glass. It's not so good during the primary, when you're deciding whether the first option will be a shit sandwich.

This is also not a good thing when it's weaponized to make sure that no genuinely progressive candidate can be realistic.

Better yet, offer to help them with their time management. That way, it's a positive and friendly offer, not an overt criticism. And it jams in a little more condescension.

Uh, or just don't get one? This is a stand-alone product with an unconventional business model. It's not like they're forcing it on anyone.

No. Fixating on radical issues and demanding complete obedience alienates moderates. Anyone who believes in national borders or some importance of biological sex is unwelcome in many Left circles. The only reason The Right has any traction right now is people who are fed up with radical wokeism. I’m a moderate liberal, and I’m just tired of fighting over trendy fringe issues when we need to focus on existential problems.
