Look I get what you're saying, but they've realistically made two stinkers, Andromeda and anthem, and I actually like Andromeda not to mention it was made by a completely different and brand new studio that probably shouldn't have called themselves Bioware.

I also enjoyed inquisition, it was fun and had a ton of commercial success as well as a really good final expansion that was universally praised. I get Anthem really burned a ton of bridges, but it's not on the scale that places like Reddit like to make you believe. The gameplay was legitimately fun, the story was awful and all over the place.

Yeah no thanks, I've kicked my Windows habits, I don't need it anymore. I have no interest in this now that I have a steam deck.

Gaming is absolutely there, if you want to say something about anti cheat and whatnot that's fair, but my gamescope enabled, AMD fsr utilizing arch install is performance parity to Windows 10, if not more performant. I'm not giving up that performance gain for an insanely small handful of games. You do you I guess.

I'll just jump ship completely and use my Linux install 100% of the time. If I need to use a more mainstream OS for some stupid reason I'll just use my Mac.

So you're complaining over nothing because you don't play games that require accounts.

What do you mean? You have to for Ubisoft, ea, and Activision, I'd love to know how you're bypassing this but honestly it's just not worth my time.

Helldivers is a completely different scenario. I'm talking about God of war and ghosts of tsushima and any other game that gets ported over with the requirement from day 1. Helldivers was a screw up, the other games aren't, and frankly it's absolutely ridiculous anyone is complaining about it when you have to make accounts for damn near every fucking publisher. How is this different other than the region issues? I'll give you a hint, it's not. Pretty sure at this point anyone downvoting me right now is just pissed I'm calling their stupidity out.

This guy uses bots to spams the community with posts that are mostly on Reddit. It's pretty annoying and when I've called them out in the past they claim they don't use bots but that's utter bullshit when you're posting multiple articles every few seconds. The title is probably from the website but yeah I get what you're saying.

I think it's a stupid hill to die on. You have EA, Ubisoft, Epic, gog, steam, and even 2k and GTA accounts but this is where you draw the line? Come on, that's just stupid. I would also point out that those also have games that not only require the associated account but also the associated launcher and for single player games.

I get that there are people that can't purchase the games due to region restrictions on psn accounts, but this is quite possibly the most hypocritical and idiotic circle jerk I've ever seen in PC gaming.

Because it IS a cheaply built gamer device in a generic OEM shell. Pretty sure Microsoft has gotten enough flak for handheld Windows that they're starting to build gamescope type optimizations like directSR. It's not enough for me to switch back but maybe it is for others, who knows, hopefully Microsoft can stop riding the AI hype train to eventually build something to make armorycrate obsolete.

I wouldn't say in the works, this is one person who's a web developer posting on Reddit about an idea. In the works usually tells me they're already working on the project, not trying to find people to help start it. GL to them I guess.

Good thing I exclusively use Firefox.
