I’ve updated the sidebar, you’re more than welcome here! I’m keen to develop a community of professionals, volunteers, those new to the industry, and anyone with a passing interest!
I’m running a 40% split at work, and I’ve noticed a massive difference in back pain at the end of a long day. Having the shoulders open and rolled back improves my posture and has made a world of difference to me.
A small quality of life thing, but some way to mark notifications as ‘read’ automatically, either when i click through to view it in the thread or when i vote on it. Maybe I’ve missed a setting somewhere, but when someone replies and I go to read/interact, the notification number stays there until I manually go and click ‘read’
Sounds like an awesome community spirit there to have a committee able to deliver events every other day, and a great variety! Zoom can be a tough one, especially when you are balancing multiple needs and facing the challenge of “But it works on my laptop!”
I don’t even know where to begin here, so much wrong with this picture
I remember Reddit being quite confusing when I started and different to most social media. It took me a while to get my head around following communities and not individuals. Federation is something quite different, but the feel is very old school reddit and I’m finding it pretty easy to learn, just with less creature comforts at the moment that I’m sure will come with time.
Fuck all mate, fuck all
I tend to drop the numbers when the base name is available, but I know a lot of friends go for consistency across platforms and the number helps ensure it’ll be available on any new platform they come to
I’ve preordered all of the commander decks! I know details are scarce, but the artwork looks great and the theming seems solid already with making it a Planechase set!
Thanks to the admins and moderators here and across the fediverse!
Just getting onboard due to … recent events … and keen to see how these communities develop.
Always been a fan of open source and decentralisation, as long as enough communities get on board with this it could be a true replacement in short order thanks to the hard work of the 1% who make it happen!
40% is definitely my go-to, took a while to get used to but glad I made the switch!
