This dude aint minimizing anyones suffering. I can imagine that people who are overwhelmed by the rigours of modern living and need to retreat is one of the contributing factors to a fractured society that results in lonely people.

The article even says at much.

Dont hate on this person for acknowledging that the people respond differntly to the same broken system. Everyones hurting man

Im with them on this. Ive seen people post one star reviews for perfectly competent movies, just to pull the average down on review aggregator sites. It is embarrassing

Man what a scary experience to have gone through.

I want to say, good on you for looking after yourself and seeking care, especially when it feels like you havent been supported. Sometimes the people around us dont understand or dont get it right. You help just by speaking up. Truly.

Doctors often give advice / trial a therapy amd if you dont go back, they assume you got better. If it aint working out, go back and say so. You should get taken seriously, and Im sorry if that hasnt been your experience.

Amongst other things, Facial droop and pupil dilation can be a big deal and should have sparked a comprehensive exam. A herniated disc at C7/T1 does not cause those issues. It is not always necessary to operate on a herniated disc, but should it come to it, it is now microsurgery, quite a bit safer and less invasive. However this is typically done when other approaches have failed. It provides more immediate relief, but outcomes are similar surgical v non-surgical after 12 months. I suspect this will not be the route you need to go.

I am with the previous commenter, follow up with your concerns!

Was incredible. After this, returning to the furst movie was interesting . They really upped the ante in terms of length and character depth -gwen especially. Didnt realize how streamlined Gwens role was in the first movie. Across the Spiderverse fleshes her out so thoroughly... I think it is a rare sequel that improves the first movie retroactively.

If you are looking to live in that world a little longer, check out the youtube channel, schnee. Cant even remember his commentary, but he does such an insightful analysis, thought I better take the chance to plug him.

By saying these serious words in such a trivial way, it robs them of their weight. It is an attempt to frame it as politically motivated instead of what it is.... a big fucking deal.

Impeachment? Treason? Sexual misconduct ? These are not words that mean "I dont like that person", but here they are delegitimizing these words by screaming "No you are"

Disgusting

There are several differences between the National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA) and the proposed Voice to Parliament, according to constitutional and legal experts. Firstly, the NIAA is an internal agency accountable to the executive government. The proposed Voice, on the other hand, is an independent body that sits outside of both the executive and parliament. Secondly, the NIAA can only advise the executive government, while in contrast the proposed Voice can advise both the executive and parliament. Thirdly, the NIAA is not an entirely Indigenous organisation, whereas the proposed Voice would be composed entirely of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Lastly, the NIAA can be abolished by an executive order, while the proposed Voice would have its existence guaranteed by being enshrined in the Constitution.

I will never give that guy my views. Bad taste, bad faith, bad takes. Literally nothing to like there. I was addicted to my outrage, and this guy deals the most potent dose of idiocy you can snort
