Alabama Republican Sen. Tommy Tuberville had blocked military promotions for months over objections to Pentagon abortion policy. He had relented earlier for most promotions except for some generals.

Earlier in December, Tuberville defended his blockade, saying he had made an effort to "stand up for the taxpayers of this country" against what he called a "bad policy."

What a colossal waste of time this was. Tuberville made a mockery out of a routine process and held up important military promotions for 11 months.

More than that is the implication: he is a security risk. He intentionally kept our military weaker because of his personal beliefs. He is a domestic terrorist.
