He was seen as a top recruit for the Senate last year but declined to run, and he also chose not to run for the Republican presidential nomination himself — saying at the time that he thought he could have more influence as an external voice than as a candidate.
While she is still trailing the GOP's orange overlord by a significant amount, this is a nice endorsment for her to get under her belt.
Thoughts? What are the odds she will get the nomination from Trump? She would obviously be an improvement over Trump, but that is not saying much as her politics are still quite regressive.
