Hey folks, I thought I'd share this game I recently finished. It's intended to be an example project for people learning godot.

Source on Github, and it's on the play store too.

cool!

you might want to consider, releasing it on https://f-droid.org too

Good idea! I always loved browsing games on f-droid, it kind of implicitly raises the bar.

Looks really cool! Get it crossposted onto that conveniently well-timed thread about open source games lol https://lemmy.world/post/91339

(I have no idea how to make instance-agnostic links to actual post yet, someone help me out here?)

Does this work?

It does for me, because I've linked it via my own instance. If it also works for you, then it's done in a similar way as with communities - [Does this work](/post/10290), where 10290 is the post ID from my home instance.

Sadly no, I get a 404 there because the post ID seems to change depending which instance it's being viewed from which is why there's apparently no way to do this for post links just yet. It's been raised on Github but no idea when we'll have a solution. It is...a little awkward. To say the least.

Oh hey, I recently saw this in the Godot discord. Fancy seeing you here!

The game is pretty fun, if a little RNG-heavy.

Aw, yes, I should probably also post to a godot community here :)

I'm always eager for feedback. The next release will probably include some balancing updates, and I'm thinking about adding different modes to suit different tastes. If you have any ideas, I'm all ears!
