While Gaetz has repeatedly proven he is unbeatable in the Panhandle, the poll shows that in a statewide race, Gaetz would have a lot of work to do to win people over — not just with independents, but his own party too.

This is the problem. It doesn't matter what all of Florida or even the country think of him. He's a US Rep, and it only matters what his district thinks of him, and they apparently love having a pedophile as their representative.

I guess it means he would have no chance at the Senate or even being President, but this man still gets to vote on laws because of a bunch of idiots living in the Florida panhandle.

He was planning to run for Governor. DeSantis is term limited.

Can we just nuke Florida already? Why do we have to wait for the sea to swallow it?

[-] [email protected] 9 points 2 weeks ago

Hey, man, there's a couple blue islands down here. At least give us a heads-up before this nuking business.

Is it too much to ask for it to fall off into the sea like the gangrenous appendage it is?

Mitch McConnell has had the lowest approval rating in Kentucky for decades. It doesn't matter.

[-] [email protected] 14 points 2 weeks ago

If Mitch was actually dead, he would still win Kentucky.

[-] [email protected] 10 points 2 weeks ago

Yep as long as he has that R next to his name he'll keep winning.

One in five Floridians actively want a child sex trafficker stealing public money. I believe that qualifies as good news these days.

[-] [email protected] 32 points 2 weeks ago

21% seems like to big of a number for him.

Oh wow pedobear. It's been so long since I saw him that the meme itself is already too old for him.

[-] [email protected] 2 points 1 week ago

You're forgetting that no matter how old pedobear gets the kids stay the same age.

Republicans are divided about Gaetz, with 36.3% of Republicans who disapprove and 36.6% of Republicans who approve.

That's just enough for him to win the nomination, and we know Florida won't elect a Democrat.

I think this is good news for Gaetz

Florida elected Obama twice

[-] [email protected] 26 points 2 weeks ago

if the ballots were all counted, they would have elected gore, too.

[-] [email protected] 12 points 2 weeks ago

More recently, Florida elected Desantis twice

[-] [email protected] 2 points 2 weeks ago

The first election DeSantis won by .4%. The second, no democratic turnout. Point is that Florida can go either way.

[-] captainlezbian 6 points 2 weeks ago

Yeah Florida has seen the far right regime and its results. The ultimate question here is if they’ve driven away enough people to solidify it for the right

[-] [email protected] 17 points 1 week ago

he's hoping to get under 18% approval though

[-] billwashere 4 points 1 week ago

I see what you did there.

[-] [email protected] 11 points 2 weeks ago

These comments read like a bunch of people that have never been to Pensacola. Let alone Gulf Breeze.

Aahahahahahahahahahahahah

What is his approval in his district? That's all that matters. Also Florida is fucking stupid so they will vote for a child predator and cheer about it.. you know because child predators protect the children

[-] WaxedWookie 2 points 1 week ago

Well you need to be a paedophile to stop a paedophile, and besides the demonrats are worse... but not better at stopping the paedophiles, which we're definitely not - excuse me - I have to stop by the child beauty pageant on the way to protesting in defence of being able to marry children.

That’s still too high for this twat.

[-] [email protected] 4 points 2 weeks ago

What about in his district? Will this actually affect his chances at getting re-elected, or does it just dash his hopes of advancing to governor or senator?

[-] shalafi 5 points 2 weeks ago

I wouldn't say he's loved around here, but we'll put anyone in office if they have an R tacked in front of their name.

[-] xc2215x 3 points 2 weeks ago

Haha. Glad to see.

As he should be.

[-] randon31415 2 points 1 week ago

His shenanigans made it impossible to get a huge no strings attached aid package to Israel before the eventual backlash kicked in.

[-] [email protected] 2 points 2 weeks ago

even Florida Man has had enough of this turd noggin

[-] thisisawayoflife 4 points 2 weeks ago

No they haven't. He'll either be reelected to the house or be elected governor.

[-] RizzRustbolt 2 points 1 week ago

Does he look like a Rock'em Sock'em Robot to anyone else?
