I'm working my way through the DKC series right now and plan on trying to give Toy Story for the snes a speed run try. I've been playing a lot of snes recently though just going through all of my carts. I also have a superNT so have been playing smw rom hacks as well.

Metal Storm on the NES. Very fun gravity swapping mechanic.
The classics like Super Metroid, Turtles In Time, F-Zero and Link to the Past are always on rotation but I always love to pop on Cybernator (aka Assault Suits Valken) for a good run and gun mech time. Time Trax is another one not mentioned often but is nostalgic for me.
Super Paper Mario
Super Bomberman on SNES.
Star Fox SNES. None of the sequels have been able to replicate the feeling of this one, so I always go back to it. Can't quite put my finger on what it is.
On the NES I'll still play Duck Tales, Bionic Commando, and SMB3 pretty regularly. Since I got emulation running on my Steam deck I've been revisiting a lot of the old NES classics.
Dr Mario baby!!!!
Super Mario RPG Super Metroid Donkey Kong Country 1, 2 and 3.
Beat those games so many times.
Mario kart Wii
Pikmin 1
Super Mario galaxy
I donβt think Iβve ever seen it come up on any list, but growing up, I really loved Power Blade on the NES. Played it a couple of years back on an emulator, and it still gives me happy vibes.
Really wish it came to the Switch virtual console service.
I play the original Castlevania 1 and 3 at least a time or two a year.
Also Mega Man and Kung Fu.
Ocarina of Time A Link to The Past Mario 64 Super Mario World Smash 64
Apparently Pikmin 1 if that counts as a classic. Played it first last week, and itβs been amazing. Got the rest of the series straight after.
If that doesnβt count, I still regularly play Super Mario 64, which is one of my all time favorite games period.
