87mm doesn't sound like a lot, I'm surprised it's causing so much mayhem.
87mm would cause serious troubles anywhere, especially townships. It’s LOT of water, around 4,000,000 litres per acre.
As a kid I always used to imagine if it would all come down at once, mostly so we could get it over with...
But then we'd need drainage like SE Asia!
