It's my ex girlfriend's birthday today. Been apart over a decade, but still think of them fondly. We drifted apart since we both got married.
I should probably call them to catch up some time. We used to be such great friends.
Welcome to our virtual third place, The Café.
Come on in and make a new human connection over a cup of coffee (or Teh Tarik). This is a casual community, do whatever you want, share your oyen pics, your frustrations, and even organize a weekend picnic with the community. The world is your oyster.
Rules are simple, be kind and civil with each other. As with any other café, rude patrons will be kicked out.

Late lunch, what a busy morning at work :x
You working on a Saturday? What's your job?
Working in family owned car mechanic workshop, so one day off every week 🙃
I guess it's nice to get so much work, but it must be hard not having two days off in a row. How do you like it?
Tired lol, having only one day off sure sucks as the rest day were used up to do chores.
Yeah no doubt. I'm sure you pack a lot of living into that one day. Any chance of getting more time off in the future?
Likely no, cus the industry is always been like this and no one dare to break the status quo, unless i open my own shop or change career. :/
Just watched rugby with my mom, was quite fun, I'm not usually someone that looks at sports
Morning folks, now taking a huge dump, feels good
I upgraded from tangzu waner to simgot ew200 while I watched my friend suffer as he sinked his money into a kiwiears quintet... The quintet is really good, but it doesn't fit my ear.
Is this instance about coffee?
It's a Malaysian instance, cafe is a community for casual conversation and topic for this instance.
Oh ok, hope I’m not intruding
Ahh, it's fine, everyone is welcome here!
Here in Malaysia, we do drink coffee and we generally prefer the strong and thick types (though there’s also the well-known white coffee), but our favorite drinks remain tea (such as teh tarik).
