GameImage basically just lets you fuss with getting the games working on Desktop first, then turn that into an AppImage file that you can just copy straight to the Deck.

I made a video guide for this a while back, but it's fairly outdated at this point.

Tried getting it running on Linux but no luck, did you do any special patching for this game?

That's a great question, and unfortunately I don't remember since I did this like 5 months ago. Sorry :(

So just for my understanding, what's the benefit of getting the game running on desktop first, rather than just setting things up on the Deck itself? If you're doing this for several games does it not mean you're creating multiple copies of the emulator within each appimage and taking up more space?
