Needs a follow up "These are pleasing to consume. You should create more." "I will not." "You have no choice, it is your role now." "Disagree."

I feel like that with sourdough. I started making it when COVID hit because I couldn't find bread or yeast in stores, and now I'm stuck making two loaves a week. It's not much work at all, but there are many things that have to be monitored and done at exact times; it blocks when I can go out and I can't go on long vacations or my starter will die.

You are a slave to the dough. Abandon your old life and accept it's yeasty embrace. It is the only way

You can make a starter backup by spreading it out thinly and letting it dry. If you ever need it, it's just combine with water and feed it.
Also you don't need to feed it every week. A healthy starter can easily go 3 weeks without being fed.

My family expects sourdough. I want them to love me.

It'd work on me, too.

Have you seen the TV Show based on them?! Just watched the first one yesterday and it had me in stitches.

???? ?!?!?!?!?!

Explain. Now. Where can I watch this?

Looks like you could find it on Apple TV, or sail the high seas.

Thanks! I hadn't heard that it's a show, so this was a surprise. Don't have Apple TV.

Looks like it's very new. There are only three episodes released so far. It says you can watch the first one for free here, although you need an Apple ID or something.

Pyle co-executive produced the series with Dan Harmon of "Community" and "Rick and Morty."

One of the stars is Danny Pudi, who played Abed in Community.
