"FaKe NeWs! The guy with the flag in blue was going to hit him with it but ThE mEdIa doesn't want you to know that! The Demonrats were the party of slavery!"

I think this was a YouTuber that was pointing out that the klan endorsed Trump to its members. I got a trumpet sending me this as a "gotcha" attempt when I said this was easily believable.. but I doubted that real klan members would open carry sort to speak.

The point is still.. the klan endorses trump.

It's been said that not every Trump Supporter is a Nazi, but every Nazi is a Trump Supporter. I couldn't find sources for the first part though.

I’m sorry though, at this point if you are still for Trump, I immediately assume you’re a nazi, racist or misogynist.

Oddly enough a lot of those happen to fit every one of them.

yeah, it's pretty interesting. The Nazis, the KKK, and the Russians support him but "that picture is FAKE", or "the flags are photoshopped" or whatever their pathetic excuse is. Dude's a real-life supervillain.

"Get karma"

WTF are they even talking about? By all accounts nothing happened to them and they were even cheered on by the trump crowd.

[–] spankmonkey 25 points 1 month ago

I assumed they meant positive karma from the fellow conservatives.

It refers to being splashed with water, it's explained in the article...

I miss when america killed nazis instead of electing them

[–] kofe 4 points 1 month ago

Well it's mostly been kinda both for a while hasn't it? I wonder how my dad's dad would feel about Trump, though. Never got to meet him but he was a POW in the Bataan Death March

When people claim this - I basically say - "Fine, let's pretend for a second that these people don't support Nazis. The Nazis sure think that they're on the same side. And they aren't exactly being removed"

Then the reply is almost always something about "Freeze Peach", and I say "Well, they removed guns from the event, since it's a private event didn't they?"

Great use of quotes there, r/conservative person.

There is a whole cottage industry for selling reactionary apologetics to people who want to pretend that they're not fascists.

There are funding sources from outside the U.S. for stuff. But this probably isn't that.
