There must be a "block user" function somewhere, but I'm not finding it. I am old and sometimes surprisingly stupid. How to block an user please?

Along the line where you can see the number of votes and number of comments, there is a vertical bar of 3 dots. Click on it and a menu appears. You can block the user from there.

That functionality disappears in mlmym, so it's a mlmym bug.

Thanks. :)

Click the users name. (Or just go to https://lemmy.world/u/username) Near the top (to the middle right on the desktop web interface) there'll be two buttons "Send Message" and "Block User". You want the second of those.

Nope, all I've got is "Send a message." No mention of blocking.

It's a mlmym issue, apparently. Go back to just plain Lemmy.world and I'm able to block users. I'll inform mlmym — thanks for the help. :)

Alternatively is there a way to report users?

Hey, you have your account set as a bot account. Should be a toggle in your account settings to switch that off.

I don’t know why it’s happening. I looked and it doesn’t seem like I’ve selected it. I wonder if I’ve selected it on a different browser And i won’t update or something
