That was a starting pitcher for the Guardians. The best part of the clip is how Realmuto doesn't break his focus/ seriousness at all lol

I did this during softball and the Ump called me out. I am more confused than ever

Apparently Realmuto called time out just before the pitch was thrown. So that's why he's not out and why the pitch wasn't thrown hard

If they didn’t catch the ball and were hit by it, does that count as a HBP? Or no because of the time out?

Now I’m wondering when someone will try to abuse that if so.

I'm guessing there is some leeway for the umps here. And it would depend on when the timeout is called. So probably no hbp in general, unless the ump thinks it's intentional?
