lmao, ND really gonna blow it at home after taking on A&M last week in College Station

[–] g0d0fm15ch13f 2 points 2 months ago

NIU coach literally in disbelief

This is straight ugly. Michigan getting spanked, at home no less. Texas has been dominant the whole afternoon.

[–] g0d0fm15ch13f 5 points 2 months ago

Is Iowa without Brian actually decent offensively? Y'all we may be fucked

[–] anhydrous 5 points 2 months ago (1 children)

After one quarter, Baylor has -10 net yards.

Texas is nasty!

Welcome to the SEC.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I will only feel welcome in the SEC once Texas beats Georgia. Hopefully we can do that once or twice this season.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago (3 children)

I'm cool with that 😆🤘

Here for CU @ NU. Flu shot yesterday is making me feel like shit and I want to feel hype but will settle for sitting upright. gbr

[–] wjrii 4 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I am here for anybody playing CU. Deion is not a good person, and doesn't even have the courtesy to limit the damage to football players like your average sociopath coach.

"So this is the Nebraska football my dad is always talking about" sign. I'm here for it.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Real impressed with what I've seen from Raiola so far. Future looking bright for y'all

[–] BanjoShepard 2 points 2 months ago

I'm very impressed so far too, but somehow I'm even more thankful that I never have to see Jeff Sims again.

🚨🚨🚨BEAUTIFUL PUNT ALERT🚨🚨🚨

Cal nails Auburn at the 2 with a ball that lands at the intersection of by hash and the boundary

[–] g0d0fm15ch13f 2 points 2 months ago

Auburn was physically unable to recover from this punt

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago

I already miss RG3 🙁

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Man, I wish I could pay more attention to the ^20^K-State @ Tulane game. Really curious how the Wildcats have struggled so much in the first half so far

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

Actually tuning away from my Texas game because it's so lopsided. K-State just got a scoop n' score in this one. I was hoping the Green Wave could hold on to their lead but this is probably the turning point in this game

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago

I'm thinking that ^17^Georgia Tech at Syracuse is lowkey the most interesting matchup in the early window.

[–] wjrii 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Samford @ Florida

DJ Lagway starting and looks mostly like he should versus a middling FCS team, but this Florida team is still very inefficient. Billy doesn't get fired this week, but he's not restoring much faith either.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Just curious, is there a good week for him to be fired? Especially since the back of the schedule is such a gauntlet, it seems like it would set up an interim for failure.

Miami doing to FAMU what I’d expect Miami to do to FAMU. Thankfully no ND/NIU vibes.

[–] g0d0fm15ch13f 3 points 2 months ago

Just tuning in, looks like the Arky OSU game is a good one. Also nice job to Texas for establishing SEC dominance over the B1G

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago (2 children)

USC vs Kentucky! Go Cocks!

[–] g0d0fm15ch13f 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I'm expecting this one to be a good one

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago (2 children)

As a Gamecock fan, I am not 🤣

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

YES! #3! Bennett Jr.

Sat in front of his family at last week's game. I'm sure they're dancing in the stands.

Held KY to just a field goal. That's better than it could have been.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Just in time for us to have hope and lose 99-7 next week.

Source: gamecock fan.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

ha ha ha. Spot on!

I got a text with 3 minutes left asking if I was breathing easy now. I told them no! There's 3 minutes left for them to score 20+ points on us. It could happen!!!

[–] g0d0fm15ch13f 3 points 2 months ago

It's at least a good start, what is kentucky's OL lmao

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

Halftime. Gamecocks up 10-6 over Kentucky.

^2^Texas at ^12^Michigan

Super frustrating to have a touchdown taken away because of a holding penalty, and then missing the FG. But there will be plenty of opportunities to score. Although I'm a fan of both teams, the Michigan team is a husk of what they were last year and I really expect my Longhorns to push them around, especially later in the game

Edit to add: I really do not like the CGI Allstate FG nets. But I guess it has me talking about them, so advertising works, I guess?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

So we lose Baxter in the preseason, and Blue goes down in this game. :( It's a good thing Wisner has stepped up, otherwise the RB room would be pretty bare. Hope Blue is okay.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

Very uncharacteristic of Loveland to cough up the ball like that. Normally I'd be real annoyed about it, but they're playing my alma mater so shrug

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Oi, Sellers. LEARN TO HOLD ON TO THE BALL!!

So are there going to be any Duke's mayo shenanigans like with the bowl game? Maybe a mayo bath for the loser rather than the winner (seems like that would be more motivating)?
