It is a bit of a shame for him, esp if they're rolling out car improvements for Hungary that could've helped his performance. Admittedly he wasn't really making waves out there. Hopefully he can either be picked up by another team or maybe make a move to another discipline like Formula E or something

Nyck de Vries was Formula E champion in 2020-21. Could be interesting if he went back, but I don't follow Formula E closely, I don't know if that's a possibility/appealing for him.

I’m sure it does, I feel bad but ultimately in these business that operate lean or under high pressure… those that aren’t performing get dropped because the businesses can’t handle a position not working to full potential
