I know the official client isn't done, but are people finding success with the unofficial clients? Any good experiences?

Absolutely, I've made one trade on it myself and it went through with no problems. And I am also very much helping to improve the software. Little by little.

Edit: The official client will never be done. It will remain for testing purposes only because the developer does not want to run a network for legal considerations. Look for Samurai to see a good reason why.

Edit: At absolute most, the official client may allow you as the user to input which network you would prefer to be on, but they will never run a network themselves.

He can make a client which allows the user to input the network? Frees him from legal obligations

That is being worked on in issue #1073

Ahh then whats the right way to see which unofficial networks have the best activity, or even exist at all? is there a index?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago

No, there is no index. The only one that exists for right now is Haveno Reto

You remind me of myself when bisq1 launched and I was excited as shit on a stick and made plenty of suggestions that made it in and some didn't and are already in haveno.. Haveno is a big improvement, need more people like you using and reporting issues and making suggestions. Let's show haveno support by making an offer and leaving it online. Are you doing your part? Join haveno network and save the world. Privacy guarantees autonomy. Would you like to know more?

I am in fact doing my part. Have a look at my recent pull request (that i have had much help with), or some of my filed issues like #941, #947, or #1130
