RES has an option called "show images" that automatically enlarges all of the thumbnails on the user's current page. Is there a similar function available on Lemmy?

Are we talking about desktop now? If so I've yet to find anything like RES for Lemmy. I really think the front page and views pages could use a redesign.

Yep, desktop. And I agree with you; the design could be improved. It's not just the tiny thumbnails; the threaded indentations could be increased, I think. Right now it's hard to tell if you're looking at a reply to a top-level comment, or a reply to a second-level comment, etc.

Tbh I think the tread design is pretty good. At least for me it's easier to use the desktop than it is to use reddit. Sounds weird but I prefer it.

I hope they improve the overall design tho. There is much need for improvement.

Not built in, but if you use an extension like Tampermonkey or Greasemonkey you can load this sweet userscript called LemmyTools, which adds what you're looking for.

It's kind of like RES, but for Lemmy. It's pretty early in its development and featureset but it's been really nice to use on my end.

Thanks! I'll have to check that out.
