Funnier than I expected, and raccoon's backstory was emotional and very well done. Music was top notch. 4/5 from me as well.

:DD
I loved the movie, but goddam it was annoying how they ignored explosive decompression and exposure to the void of space when it wasn’t convenient to deal with it during those action scenes, but then sometimes did acknowledge it and sort of deal with it when they needed it for the story.
it's not hard sci fi. It's marvel.
That’s fair, but it doesn’t change that it was bad enough to break me out of the story. Like I said, I still enjoyed the movie, but instead of being something I’d definitely go back and rewatch, it’s one I probably won’t.
Haha yeah I noticed that too!! I just thought it was kinda silly...
I don’t mind stuff like that when it doesn’t break me out of the story. I’m this case, it was so bad I found it jarring. Still enjoyed the movie, but that was egregious.
It was fun, and probably my second favorite of the three.
which is your first?
The second one
Yeah I really liked it too. Also more gut wrenching than unexpected.
I loved the first one, hated the second one and the third one is somewhere in between.
still haven't gotten around to seeing it. I loved the first two but I've really been feeling marvel fatigue as of late, and just don't really care anymore.
I'm so tired of superhero movies but I really enjoyed this one. It's better than the second one and has a ton of imaginative designs when it comes to sets and costumes. Very James Gunn-ish which I enjoy.
Can't relate :/
Still, it really is pretty good!! If you liked the first 2, then you should definitely check this out.
One one hand I can relate. Endgame was indeed an end of something which they won’t be able to replicate anytime soon or more likely - ever. On the other this is James Gunn’s movie which is pretty much self contained and feels like an actual conclusion to this characters’ story (regardless of whatever Marvel comes up with next). Was going to skip it like I’m doing with most of recent marvel stuff, decided to go to the cinema eventually , definitely did not regret it.
I know the poster is based on another movie poster but I can't figure out what.
