Soca is music that was created in the islands of Trinidad & Tobago. It is an infusion of Calypso Music & East Indian Music that is associated with Caribbean Carnivals. The name Soca was created with the "so" in calypso and "kah" which is the first syllabe of the Hindu alphabet, originally spelled "Sokah" somewhere it was changed to the current spelling.
Soca music is one of the fastest growing genres of music worldwide, it brings good vibes, energy, and great people together.
