I've had my beard trimmer for years. I've replaced the battery once already. It was welded in (talk about planned obsolescence) and I had to make due with soldering an off the shelf AAA. The motor and such are fine, but the battery is going again. I'll end up fixing it, but I don't wanna rely on it. This is a real PITA.

Anyone know of a battery beard trimmer that has a replaceable battery?

I use a Philips series, I forget the exact one however it has multiple levels to adjust the head to built into the handle.

Been using them for years and they've never done me wrong. They charge quite well, and my current one maintains enough charge for a month or so of trimming. They're very easy to clean, don't cost an arm and a leg, and on top of this the trim is consistent every time even after a year of ownership.

Edit: something like this: https://amzn.eu/d/i30rCoi

Sorry for the Walmart link but I have been very happy with this product

I have only had it for a couple months though.

Takes two aaa's, if you make them rechargeable it can be zero waste

Not what you asked for, but if a corded one works, a basic Wahl will last for decades. Might be worth giving up the convenience of cordless for

I've thought about it but I beard trim in the show and I'd probably need an extension cord and drag it over the counter, which is annoying but honestly sound more preferable by the day. I hate batteries.

Wahl makes some good stuff from the AA-powered cheapo to some really nice rechargeables. They run smoothly and with regular maintenance seem to go forever.

Yes, this looks great. I hate integrated batteries. Thanks.

The battery started lagging after 2 years, but still runs for 2-3 days on a single charge. One issue was the plastic cage was a little flimsy and eventually snapped off. Ended up getting a second one. Turns out you don't have to lift the cage off every time. Only when oiling the blades.

Being able to dial the height works pretty well. Not sure if necessary. You tend to set it once and then never change it again.

If you have a beard of batteries, you may want to just go to the hospital.

No, fellow human, this is the most human beard in humanity.
