I do a lot of tabletop wargaming projects, but sometimes it’s nice to just make something out of nothing for the sake of it. I don’t get to show these projects off much.

Well I did not have "miniature foam-based dioramas" on my must-craft list for this year, but here we are.

They're adorable! Remind me a bit of the game Islanders just with different style houses.

This is adorable! What kind of foam do you use for them?

XPS wall insulation, from a hardware store. This was made with off cuts glued together and shaped with a hot wire cutter.

I leaned into the boxy kind of cartoon aesthetic.
