Your question subject cannot be illegal or NSFW material. You will be warned first, banned second.

Rule 3- Do not seek mental, medical and professional help here.

Do not seek mental, medical and professional help here. Breaking this rule will not get you or your post removed, but it will put you at risk, and possibly in danger.

Rule 4- No self promotion or upvote-farming of any kind.

That's it.

Rule 5- No baiting or sealioning or promoting an agenda.

On fridays, you are allowed to post meme and troll questions, on the condition that it's in text format only, and conforms with our other rules. These posts MUST include the [NSQ Friday] tag in their title.

If you post a serious question on friday and are looking only for legitimate answers, then please include the [Serious] tag on your post. Irrelevant replies will then be removed by moderators.

Rule 8- All comments should try to stay relevant to their parent content.

Rule 9- Reposts from other platforms are not allowed.

Let everyone have their own content.

Rule 10- Majority of bots aren't allowed to participate here.

How stressful is to be a yoga teacher? Engineers, doctors, school teachers are known to have a lot of pressure in their jobs, I wonder if the same happens for yoga teachers and similar jobs?

I taught in Yoga Studios for a while, as well as smaller, private classes. I facilitated something called Yoga Nidra which is a form of meditation.

I had a large amount of positive feedback and people apparently had all kinds of amazing experiences - but quite often - particularly during the times at Yoga Studios, I was not in a good space myself generally, and the very thing I Ioved doing became more like any old humdrum, regular day job.

On a 'bad' day, in my mind, I would imagine a newcomer visiting the class and saying something negative at the end of a session - despite this never happening. :)

In my experience, all pressure us created by a judgmental mindset (which is the default setting for the human mind!) and a lot of the 'pressure' is actually a matter of perception - as is everything.

Of course, a lot of situations are extremely challenging, but the only thing we really have dominion over is our perception of these situations.

Changing one's perception though, can take years of practice. Both our own conditioning , and that of the 'human collective' influencing us, runs deep.

However, even a little regular practice can evidence tangible results in small, incremental ways.

You're welcome. Glad it helped.

Having met my fair share, I'll say it depends on your job security. If you've got a stable gig teaching regular classes at an established place you like, it's a potential dream job. Doesn't exactly pay the best, I wouldn't want to raise a family on it necessarily, but fine for an individual.

Or you can not have a stable gig with predictable hours and pay. That's probably less fun. But if you're just wanting something part time on the side, I've met a few that do that.

Nice thing about yoga teacher is its one of those jobs where you'd be doing the yoga anyway. So, doing it for pay while you tell people to breathe isn't all that bad.

I'd imagine being a driving instructor is more stressful than yoga teacher.
