So cool but I can only imagine the local brodozers raging if I used it on the road and the Karens going crazy if I used it on the footpath.
micromobility - Ebikes, scooters, longboards: Whatever floats your goat, this is micromobility
Ebikes, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, longboards, eboards, motorcycles, skates, unicycles: Whatever floats your goat, this is all things micromobility!
"Transportation using lightweight vehicles such as bicycles or scooters, especially electric ones that may be borrowed as part of a self-service rental program in which people rent vehicles for short-term use within a town or city.
micromobility is seen as a potential solution to moving people more efficiently around cities"

It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:
Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.
Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.
Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.
Also called a velomobile.
Imagine going up-hill in this bad boy. The workout is gonna be intense.
Imagine how easy a road bike would be once you got acclimated to pedaling one of these chonkers around though.
Why not just a bakfiets?
Different use cases, the cargo bike is to haul cargo and kids around.
A velomobile is better suited to travel long distances, specially in bad weather.
Carbikes, like the ones in the video, can be used for both. I've seen plenty of cargo carbikes used by businesses and delivery couriers.
The one on the picture though, it's just crazily ineffective use of space. That's already half of why cars are so terrible on cities
That's just the attention grabbing thumbnail, it's a one-off project by some random guy who did it for fun.
All the other carbikes shown in the video are actually super nice and useful
I might get one
That makes sense, thanks!
- This has a roof.
- The balance isn't godawful like a bakfiets. (Hopefully)
git gud :p
