Luton Town have scored more goals than Man U this season in the PL, apparently, somehow.

I feel like they frequently get beaten while having scored 2 or 3. We did them 4-3, City was 6-2 I think, now Bournemouth 4-3. Sucks they probably won't stay up.

I really want Luton to stay up. Maybe it's the whole underdog thing, but they seem to play some nice football and are up for the challenge. They just have a leaky defence

With the way they're playing they'll probably be back up in two or three seasons and better prepared to stay up. It seems like they have a better gameplan than a lot of Championship teams entering the PL, but they've ascended too quickly and it just seems like they didn't have everything in place for this season.

Hard to do what they did even in FM, I'd be super impressed if they stay up lol.

I absolutely don't want City the next round.

It would be interesting to face them another two times, mind games in the title race etc

From a purely practical standpoint, surely we'd want them to advance to the semis and have them build up as much fatigue and match congestion as possible, no?

It's almost guaranteed that we'll have to go through them to win the CL, though, so maybe it'd be better to get it out of the way early.

That's true! I guess it's all a bit ephemeral. The real answer is that they have an elite mentality and a strong squad. If we can win the champions league, we can do it no matter who we face. And if we win all of our remaining games, we win the league.

Sure, that's easier said than done, but we can only play the next game and hope for luck in everything else.

Technically we can win all our games and still lose the league if Liverpool overtakes our GD again

God that's a horrifying thought.

Tomiyasu did not get called up 🙌🏼

I feel bad for him. But at the same time, yes, it's excellent news for the club and for us gooners.

[–] MHPengwingz 3 points 11 months ago

Same. International call ups are an honor, but if he's not ready then he's no use to the team either. Besides, they're playing north korea this round, I don't think they need him anyways.

Liverpool please stop, they're already dead XD

Fuck Dai. How does he manage to keep making Reading's situation worse??
