Are there any power banks that output enough to charge it while playing? I have some PD power banks but when I connect them it says they charge too slow.

I have the Anker 737 Powercore 24k powerbank, which is a 24.000mAh power bank capable of charging and discharging with 140w, which makes it a perfect Steam Deck powerbank as it can charge itself super quickly while still expanding the Steam Deck's portability massively.

Can charge the powerbank in 1 hour or less, while adding over 10 hours of gameplay to the deck - or more, depending on how power hungry the game is.

I think I might grab one of these for my next trip!

When looking for a power bank suitable for the Steam Deck it needs to support atleast 45W Charging and you a suitable cable that will support this capacity (i.e a DECENT quality 3C cable).

I use a 20W power bank and it just about prevents the drastic battery drain. A 30W one should be good for most games I reckon

A 30w will suffice but to ensure charging under all circumstances regardless of load, 45w is the benchmark. For context, the charger that is included out of the box is 45w.

Yeap you’re right. 45w power banks are heavy though

The one I have is the Baseus 65W power bank. Works great, but the deck eats it all in about an hour or so.

I’m using an Omni mobile 25600 and it’s awesome.
