It's only a problem if you identify with America and its mental culture. Which country doesn't have some unsavoury aspect, past or present? Americans have an incredibly fragile and insecure self conception.

Seriously, there are problems all over the world that are just as bad. The UK withdrawing from the EU, the caste system in India, Sharia law in Saudi Arabia, the Uyghurs in China, homophobia in Russia, a string of military juntas in central Africa, Netanyahu in Israel, etcetera, etcetera.

Yet all we hear about on here is America bad!! No one is saying the U.S. is perfect, but we can talk about multiple problems at once.

Because you're loud and your stupid people even louder. Your news is exported everywhere so we become passive experts of your politics. There's Brits who know more about how the US political system works than their own.

Also when you get upset you get stroppy - which is funny to watch.

I don't like america but it doesn't seem to be shared in world news more compared to other countries whenever america does their trademark move of doing something bad
