The Holstein Interglacial, also known as the Holsteinian Stage, is a warm period in the Earth's climate history that occurred between approximately 424,000 to 374,000 years ago during the Middle Pleistocene epoch. This interglacial period is named after the German region of Holstein where evidence of this warm period was first discovered.
