Hiring a political operative to head a news organization?

McDaniels wasn’t hired to head anything at nbc.
Wow, that's even weirder tbh. What, exactly, would they expect her to contribute as a "contributer?"
I just assumed it was a bunch of management chuckleheads who only see job titles thinking she could fill a leadership role.

McDaniels made a case to nbc that if she’s hired and Trump gets elected, he and his cronies will trust NBC more with people like her there.
NBC is shameless garbage that will happily help spread tyranny if they think they can profit
To be fair, they had enough shame to reverse course after the outcry from their staff.
Or they at least had enough sense to protect their bottom line.
