My guess is that Arteta shouted at him to calm down and stop being obnoxious (or something like that). And between the slight language difference (Spanish to Portuguese) and all the other noise going on, and the fact that he was all wound up and looking for an excuse to be outraged, he interpreted it as something totally different.

For the record if Arteta did say that, he should apologise; however I sincerely doubt that for several reasons, including primarily that he's said that about several different managers when he's lost now
