De veertien Nederlandse universiteiten gaan de instroom van internationale studenten beperken. Ook gaan ze meer aandacht geven aan de Nederlandse taal, terwijl het Engels juist op een lager pitje wordt gezet. Kritiek op het 'verengelsen' van universiteiten klinkt al jaren.

Okay, but for what possible reason

Internationalisation and the free flow of information is an objectively good thing for humanity as a whole. Yes, it might eliminate elements of local culture, but it's arguable that that too is a net positive

If anything, it's Dutch in higher education that we need to get rid off
